About Us 

The idea of an e-journal for Yorkshire is the result of the closure of many Yorkshire magazines over resent years such as Smith Settles, Yorkshire Journal, which was taken over by Dalesman, then closed down, Around the Wolds and North Yorkshire, Milltown Memories and Old Yorkshire Magazine, which has not been published for many years.

This e-journal has been setup to take the place of all these now defunct publications and has been designed to appeal to all readers with an interest in Yorkshire’s heritage past and present. It is a non-profit journal dedicated to Yorkshire.

The journal is online, free of charge published quarterly 4 times a year in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
